In addition to the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and similar travel manuscripts, there are a lot of state geological surveys included. Some especially interesting documents detailed include Admiral Perry's Japan Expedition, and two Arctic expeditions. Each listing contains a brief description of the trip/survey and short biographies of their leaders.
