William Healey Dall's classic text, Contributions to the Tertiary Fauna of Florida with Especial Refernce to the Miocene Silex-Beds of Tampa and the Pliocene Beds of the Caloosahatchie River, Volume 3, Parts 1 -4. These were printed in the Transactions of the Wagner Free Institute of Science of Philadelphia over a period of several years in the 1890's. This hardbound binding (red with gilt lettering on the spine) of those publications consists of Volume 3, Parts 1- 4 as follows : Part 1 : Pulmonate, Opisthobranchiate and Orthodont Gastropods; (August 1890), Part 2 : Streptodont and other Gastropods, Concluded; (December 1892), Part 3 : A New Classification of the Pelecypoda; (March 1895), Part 4 : 1 : Prionodesmacea: Nucula to Julia; (April 1898) and 2 : Teleodesmacea : Teredo to Ervilia. * Part 3 includes Dall's comprehensive classification of the Bivalvia. Each part contains an index at the end along with multiple b&w plates with groupings of the items discussed in each part. There is also a color fold out map of Florida Geology.
